Heightened learning is achieved when students can interact with the source of learning in different ways. One of the principles of this book is to constantly present the content information in a multitude of diverse formats.
     On this page students are required to view content on the Internet about a specific term or event discussed in the chapter.  Students must also explain why certain events dealt with in the chapter are a significant turning point in United States history. Lastly, on this page students are required to take a situation from the chapter and to create a story about that setting. This constant reviewing of the content in a variety of different modes has been shown to be one of the most effective ways for students to recall information.
